  1. Graduated from Penn's MCIT graduate program

    Penn's Master of Computer and Information Technology (MCIT) program is a professional graduate degree program focused on computer science fundamentals.

    In addition to core coursework like algorithms, data structures, and operating system programming, I enjoyed taking electives in AI, natural language processing, big data, and static software analysis (LLVM, CodeQL).

    Designed and developed an event-driven service to upstream millions of Twilio SMS delivery status updates per week to business groups using Apache Kafka.

    Redesigned an email archiving service to run serverless on AWS Lambda/SQS, reducing runtime by 67%.

  3. Software Engineer Intern - Kanary

    Kanary is a startup that scans the internet for customers' sensitive private information and automates the removal of that information from hundreds of data broker sites.

    Implemented core member data monitoring and removal services in Go, extending a domain-specific language that made it easier for non-engineers to write application logic.

    Increased data removal rates for largest data brokers by more than 40%, addressing backlogs for over 10,000 members.
